*July 16-19 - The Charles S. Pierce International Centennial Congress was held at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the death of Charles Sanders Peirce. According to the Charles S. *September 25-27 - ''Faith and Reason: Themes from Swinburne'' was held at Purdue University in celebration of the life and works of Richard Swinburne.
